The purpose of these workshops is to give participants an in depth understanding of the style of acupuncture that I use, based largely on my work with Kiiko Matsumoto and influenced heavily by Jeffrey Yuen.

In each class we go through point combinations and protocols that expand our treatment language and capacity. 

The classes are designed to help each person develop their own individual understanding of the medicine, and their resonance with the medicine as a tool of personal growth.  I view these classes as study groups: I facilitate, and even lead the group, but in truth we all come together facing the wonder that is the human body/being and the wonder of our medicine, interpreting the Ancestral Teachers wisdom.

Beyond all educational goals, these workshops are about creating a local and global community that supports growth and exchange of ideas, treatment possibilities and the creation of new methods of treatment.  As in any community, some visit for a short while, taking what is useful while others become long term members of the community.

It is about going beyond the models we have been given (TCM, private practice, the role of physicians, etc.) and creating new ways of treating, new ways to relating to medicine and to the world, that will make sense for our particular era and beyond.
